Celebrating one of life’s milestones is very personal and I understand the need to take time and care to decide on your celebrant.

I believe it is very important for you to feel comfortable with the celebrant that you choose and that you are confident that he/she will reflect your wishes and deliver the type of service you really want.

My desire to become a registered celebrant stems from my own personal experiences as well as from my background in Social Work, helping and caring for others. The listening skills which I have developed as a counsellor are an invaluable tool to help translate emotions into meaningful ceremonies.

My family strongly believed in and practiced the rituals to celebrate special events in their lives. I continue this tradition by celebrating life's special milestones with my husband Rod, family, and friends.

I have had a long standing personal interest in public speaking, developed through involvement in Toastmasters' speaking clubs. I have been told that my speaking skills are outstanding and that they are a particular strength in delivering wonderful and memorable ceremonies.

I am committed to providing you with a high quality and personal service. I ensure my knowledge and skills are maintained and enhanced through professional development activities, and by membership and participation in the following organisations:

  • Professional Celebrants Association
  • Australian Federation of Civil Celebrants
  • Australian Association of Social Workers
  • Palliative Care Queensland
