The loss of a loved one is a deeply emotional and often stressful time for those who are making the funeral arrangements, and celebrating the life of someone very dear to them.

As a trained funeral celebrant, and a qualified social worker, I provide a calm, sensitive, and ethical approach to assist the bereaved relatives and friends. I am experienced in accompanying people during periods of grief and will endeavour to provide understanding and meaning to your sense of loss.

I will assist you to develop a ceremony to honour the life your loved one, as well as acknowledge the feelings of those left behind. I will listen to your wishes for the funeral service, and will help you to put your memories into words. I will also help you choose appropriate poetry, readings, music, and will also consult closely with the funeral director you have chosen about the order of your service.

My approach is to deliver a funeral service that will be warmly remembered long after your immediate sense of loss has passed. My professional background and training is enhanced by my membership and participation in the Professional Celebrants Association, Palliative Care Queensland, as well as the Australian Association of Social Workers.
